There are many reasons why people choose to have therapy. It may be due to psychological issues or problems with anxiety or depression. It may also be in response to unexpected life changes and transitions.  Working with a therapist can help provide insight, support, and new strategies for all types of life challenges.  Therapy is right for anyone who is interested in understanding who they are by taking responsibility, creating greater self-awareness, and working towards change.
My practice is only virtual at this time. Clients find it helpful as they are able to connect and have a session in the privacy of their home.
As a client, all information you share about yourself will be kept confidential. Only with your written permission will information be released to anyone outside of therapy except as required by law. Legal exceptions include the following:
-clear and imminent danger to you or someone else
-reasonable suspicion that a child or elder is currently being neglected or abused
-if mandated by a court order
- if there is a report of abuse by another registered health professional
I currently accept United Healthcare, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna, UMR, Harvard Pilgrim, Empire Bluecross Blueshield. I also accept Optum Live & Work Well(EAP). If you would like to use your out of network mental health benefits, I would be able to assist you in that process.
Individual rates start at $150 per session. I offer a limited number of appointments at a reduced, sliding-scale rate. My sliding scale is based on financial need and availability.
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cannot appear for an appointment due to illness or another unforeseen issue please let me know ahead of time. If cancellations are made within the 24 hour timeframe, your full fee for the missed session will be charged. Exceptions are made if it is an emergency.
